This course will teach you crucial theories, strategies and methods of Administering ClearCase on Unix systems. If you are an advanced Unix user you can be a ClearCase administrator after taking this course.

If you are setting up a new ClearCase environment you have a lot of work ahead of you and the information in this course will be incredibly valuable. Study the course before you begin any work: mistakes are extremely difficult to undo and there are some mistakes which cannot be undone!

If you are joining an existing ClearCase environment then chances are good that answers to some of the problems in that environment are covered in this course material.

This course will not cover how the Unix operating system works. You must already understand how to use Unix.
