We call the people who arrive first and set up our camp the Expedition team. There is no legitimate reason to be at Burning Man early unless you work for Burning Man or unless you are there to set up a Theme Camp. Since our camp and projects require several days to assemble we are allowed to arrive early. Bottom line is that the only people in our camp who come early are those who enjoy working in the desert to set up our camp.

Everyone is responsible for our zero-impact policy all the time. When each person packs up they will ensure that the area they have camped on is free of all debris. And, of course, before the last people in our camp leave we'll make a complete sweep of the camp.
