The annex camping area is a roughly rectangular area
right across the 165 degree spoke road (used to be 5:30
in the old street naming convention).
The annex camp is arranged as four
Tidepools
which each have space for about four tents.
The idea is for people who want to camp near each other to
be in the same or adjacent tidepools.
The dotted lines are just to give a rough idea of how tents
might be arranged. In practice a group of people living
in a tidepool are free to use their space as they see fit.
However, and this is really important: there isn't any
excess space in our camp. It isn't possible for
each tent to have a "front porch" with a table, chairs, etc.
It would be much better to have one "porch" area for each tidepool that can be shared. Folks in the same tidepool
can communicate with each other about how to use their
mutual porch space.
One idea is to have people face
their tents toward each other and have a common porch in
the middle.
One dome, belonging to Jeff Deifik, a.k.a. Turbo is noted
in the annex camping area. There really isn't room for any
more domes in the camp. |
