The theme camping area is arranged around the family dome
which we all share. The black line is roughly where the entrance will be, but in fact you can get into the dome from
most of the leeward (downwind) side.
Arranged around the family dome are four
Tidepools which can contains tents for a few people.
The idea is for people who want to camp near each other to
be in the same or adjacent tidepools.
The dotted lines are just to give a rough idea of how tents
might be arranged. In practice a group of people living
in a tidepool are free to use their space as they see fit.
However, and this is really important: there isn't any
excess space in our camp. It isn't possible for
each tent to have a "front porch" with a table, chairs, etc.
It would be much better to have one "porch" area for each tidepool that can be shared. Folks in the same tidepool
can communicate with each other about how to use their
mutual porch space.
The above diagram doesn't show our vehicles, but the
theme camp overview diagram shows that our
vehicles are arranged along the sides of the camp to give
us some privacy and make it physically difficult for people
to intrude. |
