Mon 8/19 Pack Desert Nose Truck hoco, greg, fran, Tim Quinn, David Miles Howard will pick up the truck at 9am and be back by about 10am. After that if there is any space that can be safely used (without crushing everything under it) then stuff belonging to the camp members can also be placed in the truck. Bring your stuff by on Monday between 3pm and 7pm if you want to see if there is room for it in the kleenex box.
Tue 8/20 Drive Desert Nose Truck to Burning Man, Set up Camp Some of us will meet at 10am at Howard's house in Alameda (click for map). Then we'll head over to the Mirthworks to pick up Joel's trailer, possibly transfer some stuff onto the trailer, and then head out on the road around 11am from the Mirthworks. We'll stop in Auburn at Ikeda's for a meal and supplies. Get off at Lincoln ave on the far side of Auburn; make a left and go up to go up the hill next to the freeway. Ikeda's is on the right near the top of the hill. Then we'll caravan to Reno and stop at a major shopping area. We'll stay there for about an hour while people stock up on anything they haven't been able to get yet. It could take up to two hours but no longer. We may also have a meal at that point, and then caravan into Burning Man. We find our camp and set up tents temporarily where the roller disco will be.
